Fees

  • $115 per 30 minute session

  • $150 per 45-50 minute session

  • $180 per 75 minute session

  • $200 for initial 60 minute intake session

All couples work is private pay only.
The price of a session is the same for individuals as it is for couples.
Payment is due at the beginning of each session. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted.

self/CASH Pay

Self pay option may be a preferred option if you want your sessions to remain completely confidential, you are seeking couples therapy as some insurance companies do not cover marital and couples therapy or you have a high deductible.

Flex and Health Savings Accounts are accepted.
The cost of counseling may also be able to come out of a Health Savings Account, or Flex Spending Account. Please speak with your provider in order to let me know what you need to submit, and I am happy to work with you to provide a receipt for reimbursement.

When using insurance, you do need to receive a mental health diagnosis  (i.e. depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder etc.)  that is connected to the nature of issues that brought you to therapy and can be helpful in charting a path towards health. Information shared with insurance companies is protected health information and limited, but does become part of your permanent health record.

Health insurance and benefit plans vary in coverage. If interested in reimbursement through an out-of-network provider, please be sure to check with your insurance provider to verify requirements. I am happy to provide a receipt for these services or submit the claims on your behalf.

Helpful questions to ask your provider when checking benefits:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Your privacy is important to me and I protect that with all clients, except in these circumstance.

Cancellation Policy 

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I request that you notify me at least 24 hours in advance. I charge half the session fee for no-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice .

REDUCED-FEE SERVICES

I offer a small number of spaces at a reduced rate for couples and individuals that have limited resources.
If full payment is a barrier to your receiving services, I am happy to talk further with you about this option.
